Cutting Academy at Lewisburg, West Virginia

The NCHA Grass Roots clinic held at JMJ Farm, Lewisburg, West Virginia was a great success with five riders from the clinic taking a check at the show on Saturday.

Russell McCord and Chris Benedict instructed participants on herd work, credit-earning points and showmanship. Jim Johnson, owner of JMJ Farm, hosted the clinic, which featured great facilities, great food and great company. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed the clinic.

The concession for the show on Saturday was provided by the Greenbrier County Special Olympics. It was the third of four Grass Roots Clinics scheduled for 2012. Each clinic features a session on understanding rules showmanship, followed by live work critiques with McCord and training tips from one of the industry’s leading trainers.
